PixelMask | COVID-19 Halloween Mask
I
ntroducing the Pixel Mask, a COVID-19 safe Halloween mask/costume idea designed specifically with trick or treating in mind. The mask uses N95 replacement filters though any filter media can be installed with this design. Some folks are using cotton pads?
The mask is equipped with a microphone and an Arduino Nano which senses sound levels and animates the mouth on the front display, it is hilarious in person. The actual screen images can be updated or skinned if you’re down with a little photoshop and coding. This will allow the Pixel Mask to be themed for any costume.
The electronics and firmware code were designed to be simple and low cost and all 3D printed parts used are available in the links here.

Keep up the great work, excited to see what becomes of your project.
